Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Portrait of a girl, full-length, seated in a beige dress beside a table by Anna Marinova was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in June 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 912.07) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna Marinova - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Warmth Of The Sun, which sold at auction in February 2014 for GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,426.48).
