Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 20,000.00 (€ 14,699.40). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna María Maiolino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (from the series 'Novos Outros'), which sold at auction in November 2017 for USD 68,750.00 (€ 57,782.82).
