Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anna Zinkeisen could be acquired at Christies in London in October 2012 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale auction, the work Rugby League Cup Final changed hands for GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,709.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Zinkeisen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Julia and Starkey in September 2021 with an auction result of GBP 15,250.00 (€ 17,743.59).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Anna Zinkeisen konnte im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Posters With A Purpose: The London Transport Museum Sale wechselte die Arbeit Rugby League Cup Final für GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.709,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Zinkeisen erzielen.
