Auction result misses estimated price range
In April last year a collector was able to acquire the work Ebb by Anna Betbeze for EUR 2,520.00. This price was achieved in the auction Collection Loïc Malle: Only Time Will Tell at Sothebys in Paris and was even below the estimate range of EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Anna Betbeze have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cenote in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,780.68).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im April letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Ebb von Anna Betbeze für EUR 2.520,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Collection Loïc Malle: Only Time Will Tell bei Sothebys in Paris erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Betbeze auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cenote im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.780,68).
