Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A fisherman's family is standing outside a cottage unraveling the fishing net by Anna Ancher was sold in the Northern Light - the Artists' Colony at Skagen auction at Bruun Rasmussen in September this year. The price achieved of DKK 48,000.00 (€ 6,435.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anna Ancher achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Little girls having a tea party in Nordstuen (the north-facing living room) in Anchers' house on Markvej, Skagen in December this year with an auction result of DKK 550,000.00 (€ 73,784.13).

Die Arbeit A fisherman's family is standing outside a cottage unraveling the fishing net von Anna Ancher wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Northern Light - the Artists' Colony at Skagen bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 48.000,00 (€ 6.435,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anna Ancher erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Little girls having a tea party in Nordstuen (the north-facing living room) in Anchers' house on Markvej, Skagen im Dezember diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 550.000,00 (€ 73.784,13).
