In March 2002 Christies in London held the auction British, Victorian and Scottish Pictures including Pictures, which included the work Self portrait with flowers by Ann Oram. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,116.25 (€ 1,824.77), 40% above the upper estimate. With this result, Self portrait with flowers is even the most expensive work of art by Ann Oram that we have observed at auctions so far.
