In May 2008 Sothebys in London held the auction Indian Art, which included the work Le Vent; Untitled by Anju Chaudhuri. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,925.41), 56% above the upper estimate. This high result makes Le Vent; Untitled the most expensive artwork by Anju Chaudhuri that we have observed at auctions so far.
