Auction result well in line with expectations
The work When I woke up this morning the feeling was still there, from the London Portfolio by Angus Fairhurst was sold in the Prints and Multiples auction at Christies in London in December 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,347.35) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angus Fairhurst achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Couple of Differences Between Thinking and Feeling II in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 118,750.00 (€ 137,829.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit When I woke up this morning the feeling was still there, from the London Portfolio von Angus Fairhurst wurde im Dezember 2011 in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Christies in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.347,35) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angus Fairhurst erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Couple of Differences Between Thinking and Feeling II im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 118.750,00 (€ 137.829,53).
