Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2017 Sothebys in New York held the auction European Art, which included the work Tempi Lontani by Angelo Morbelli. It changed hands for a price of USD 212,500.00 (€ 178,601.45) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 180,000.00 – 220,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angelo Morbelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Vecchie Calzette, which sold at auction in December 2016 for GBP 341,000.00 (€ 398,684.33).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2017 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tempi Lontani von Angelo Morbelli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 212.500,00 (€ 178.601,45) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 180.000,00 – 220.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Angelo Morbelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Vecchie Calzette beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für GBP 341.000,00 (€ 398.684,33) versteigert wurde.
