A top price for Angelo Morbelli
In December 2016 Christies in London held the auction 19th Century European & Orientalist Art, which included the work Vecchie Calzette by Angelo Morbelli. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 341,000.00 (€ 398,684.33). With this result, Vecchie Calzette is even the most expensive work of art by Angelo Morbelli that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in London die Auktion 19th Century European & Orientalist Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vecchie Calzette von Angelo Morbelli zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 341.000,00 (€ 398.684,33) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Vecchie Calzette sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Angelo Morbelli, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
