Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2002 Christies in Rome held the auction DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI, which included the work Starne e altri volatili in un paesaggio fluviale by Angelo Maria Crivelli. The price achieved of EUR 6,200.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Angelo Maria Crivelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Ducks and a curlew in a pond in a wooded landscape; and Rabbits and pheasants in a wooded landscape in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 35,250.00 (€ 56,093.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2002 führte Christies in Rom die Auktion DIPINTI E DISEGNI ANTICHI durch, in der auch die Arbeit Starne e altri volatili in un paesaggio fluviale von Angelo Maria Crivelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.200,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angelo Maria Crivelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Ducks and a curlew in a pond in a wooded landscape; and Rabbits and pheasants in a wooded landscape im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 35.250,00 (€ 56.093,85).
