Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 21st Century Art Day Sale, which included the work Olimpia by Ángeles Agrela. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 529,200.00 (€ 62,099.01), 18% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ángeles Agrela - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Alicia, which sold at auction in September last year for USD 144,900.00 (€ 148,114.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Olimpia von Ángeles Agrela zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 529.200,00 (€ 62.099,01) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Ángeles Agrela mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Alicia beobachtet, die im September letzten Jahres für USD 144.900,00 (€ 148.114,08) versteigert wurde.
