This artwork by Ángeles Agrela achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in May last year. In the 21st Century Art Day Sale auction, the work Bilma sold for HKD 1,008,000.00 (€ 119,671.23) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 400,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ángeles Agrela; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Alicia sold at auction in September last year with the realized price of USD 144,900.00 (€ 148,114.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ángeles Agrela erzielte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 21st Century Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Bilma für HKD 1.008.000,00 (€ 119.671,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 400.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ángeles Agrela; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Alicia im September letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 144.900,00 (€ 148.114,08).
