Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled No. 3 by Angela Brennan was sold in the CONTEMPORARY ART auction at Christies in Melbourne in April 2001. The price achieved of AUD 7,050.00 (€ 4,048.55) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as AUD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angela Brennan - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Elegant And Beautiful, which sold at auction in August 2001 for AUD 23,500.00 (€ 13,642.41).
