A top price for Angel Duarte - as previously expected
The work E42 A1 by Angel Duarte was auctioned at Sothebys in Zurich in June 2017. It changed hands for a price of CHF 8,750.00 (€ 7,999.30) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CHF 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, E42 A1 is the most expensive artwork by Angel Duarte that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Die Arbeit E42 A1 von Angel Duarte kam im Juni 2017 bei Sothebys in Zürich zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von CHF 8.750,00 (€ 7.999,30) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von CHF 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist E42 A1 das teuerste Kunstwerk von Angel Duarte, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
