Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September 2021 Sothebys in Cologne held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Flying through the Window by Andy Denzler. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 21,420.00. Admittedly, works by Andy Denzler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Whisper Noise II in March last year with an auction result of GBP 176,400.00 (€ 209,142.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September 2021 führte Sothebys in Köln die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flying through the Window von Andy Denzler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 21.420,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andy Denzler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Whisper Noise II im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 176.400,00 (€ 209.142,05).
