Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In September this year Bonhams in London held the auction British and European Art Online, which included the work Bathers, Grande Côte, Royan by Andrew Macara. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 416.00 (€ 416.00), 19% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Macara achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Forêt Fouesnent, Brittany in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 6,500.00 (€ 7,459.72).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in London die Auktion British and European Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bathers, Grande Côte, Royan von Andrew Macara zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 416,00 (€ 416,00) und damit 19% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrew Macara erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Forêt Fouesnent, Brittany im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.500,00 (€ 7.459,72).
