Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2010 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work Sunshade, Cap d'Adge, France by Andrew Macara. It changed hands for a price of GBP 750.00 (€ 912.07) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Admittedly, works by Andrew Macara have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Forêt Fouesnent, Brittany in July 2011 with an auction result of GBP 6,500.00 (€ 7,459.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Christie's Interiors durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sunshade, Cap d'Adge, France von Andrew Macara zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 912,07) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrew Macara auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Forêt Fouesnent, Brittany im Juli 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 6.500,00 (€ 7.459,72).
