Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2013 a collector was able to acquire the work Ten Untitled Works by Andrey Chezhin for GBP 3,750.00 (€ 4,376.92). This price was achieved in the auction Changing Focus - A Collection of Russian and Eastern European Contemporary Photography at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrey Chezhin - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work White Square; Black Square, Gray Square, Red Square, Blue Square, Yellow Square, Green Square, Brown Square And Multi-Colour Square Series, which sold at auction in June 2013 for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,589.74).
