Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Through The Snow by Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov was sold in the Russian auction at Sothebys in Olympia in June 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 2,400.00 (€ 3,472.76) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 2,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Winter Landscape, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,626.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Through The Snow von Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov wurde im Juni 2006 in der Auktion Russian bei Sothebys in Olympia versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 2.400,00 (€ 3.472,76) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 2.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Andrei Afanasievich Jegorov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Winter Landscape beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 9.626,78) versteigert wurde.
