Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2003 Christies in London held the auction Important Silver, Russian Works of Art and Paintings, which included the work View of the shore line of Tallinn by Andrei Afanas'evich Egorov. The price achieved of GBP 2,987.50 (€ 4,288.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrei Afanas'evich Egorov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Sleigh Returning To A Farmstead; And Two Sleighs Before A Barn, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 13,649.79).

Im November 2003 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Silver, Russian Works of Art and Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit View of the shore line of Tallinn von Andrei Afanas'evich Egorov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 2.987,50 (€ 4.288,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden.
