Here, the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 8,125.00 (€ 5,219.04). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrei Afanas'evich Egorov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work A Sleigh Returning To A Farmstead; And Two Sleighs Before A Barn, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 21,250.00 (€ 13,649.79).
