In October 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Portrait of the Artist, which included the work An Allegory Of Hope by Andrea di Niccolò. The result of GBP 30,000.00 (€ 34,205.87) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrea di Niccolò have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Madonna And Child Surrounded By Saints Anthony Abbot, Francis, Jerome, And Mary Magdalene, With Christ As The Man Of Sorrows, Saint Catherine, And Another Female Saint (Irene?) In Roundels Below in January 2020 with an auction result of USD 350,000.00 (€ 315,514.29).
