In the Old Master & British Drawings auction, the work Semiramis Hearing The News Of A Revolt In Babylon changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 9,746.44) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrea Michieli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait Of A Sultana, Full-Length, Wearing White Salvar And Gömlek, And A Red And Gold Embroidered Yelek, With A Capriccio Of Constantinople Beyond in July 2020 with an auction result of GBP 75,000.00 (€ 83,656.79).
