Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by André Marfaing was sold in the Modern art and design auction at Bruun Rasmussen in November this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of DKK 3,000.00 – 4,000.00, the actual price achieved of DKK 3,200.00 (€ 429.19) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Marfaing achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sans Titre in June last year with an auction result of EUR 151,200.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von André Marfaing wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern art and design bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von DKK 3.000,00 – 4.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von DKK 3.200,00 (€ 429,19) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Marfaing erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sans Titre im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 151.200,00.
