This artwork by André Lanskoy achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December this year. In the Contemporary Art – online sale including ‘’A Lifetime Collection’’ auction, the work À la lisière du jardin noir sold for EUR 50,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 25,000.00. Admittedly, works by André Lanskoy have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Sans titre in June 2019 with an auction result of EUR 286,000.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Lanskoy erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art – online sale including ‘’A Lifetime Collection’’ wurde die Arbeit À la lisière du jardin noir für EUR 50.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 25.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Lanskoy auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Sans titre im Juni 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 286.000,00.
