The work Scène de rue by André Eugène Louis Chochon was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Christies in London in March 2015. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,555.37), 61% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by André Eugène Louis Chochon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot St Cast sold at auction in March 2015 with the realized price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,765.11).

Die Arbeit Scène de rue von André Eugène Louis Chochon wurde im März 2015 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.555,37) und damit 61% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von André Eugène Louis Chochon; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit St Cast im März 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.765,11).
