This artwork by André Eugène Louis Chochon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2015. In the Modern British and Irish Art auction, the work Bateaux de pêche sur la plage sold for GBP 1,500.00 (€ 2,073.83) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 600.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by André Eugène Louis Chochon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot St Cast sold at auction in March 2015 with the realized price of GBP 2,000.00 (€ 2,765.11).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Eugène Louis Chochon erzielte im März 2015 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Bateaux de pêche sur la plage für GBP 1.500,00 (€ 2.073,83) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von André Eugène Louis Chochon; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit St Cast im März 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 2.000,00 (€ 2.765,11).
