Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Continental Village by André Bicât was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in May 2006. The price achieved of GBP 480.00 (€ 700.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Other works by André Bicât have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2005 the work Window of Light was auctioned for GBP 900.00 (€ 1,328.68).
