Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,433.97). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by André Béronneau - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Panorama of the Port of St Tropez, which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 4,779.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A port in Brittany von André Béronneau kam im Oktober 2008 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.433,97) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von André Béronneau mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Panorama of the Port of St Tropez beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 4.779,99) versteigert wurde.
