Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Man Pissing on Brancusi Sculpture by Andra Ursuta was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November last year. The price achieved of EUR 10,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andra Ursuta have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Breath Hold (Discipline and Vanish) in March this year with an auction result of USD 47,880.00 (€ 44,039.74).

Die Arbeit Man Pissing on Brancusi Sculpture von Andra Ursuta kam im November letzten Jahres bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 10.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andra Ursuta auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Breath Hold (Discipline and Vanish) im März diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 47.880,00 (€ 44.039,74).
