Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "Kuvåsängen" by Anders Leonard Zorn was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June this year, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 3,000,000.00 – 4,000,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 2,650,000.00 (€ 224,958.79). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anders Leonard Zorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Söndagsmorgon" (Sunday morning) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 30,000,000.00 (€ 2,926,312.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "Kuvåsängen" von Anders Leonard Zorn im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 3.000.000,00 – 4.000.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 2.650.000,00 (€ 224.958,79) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anders Leonard Zorn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Söndagsmorgon" (Sunday morning) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 30.000.000,00 (€ 2.926.312,07).
