Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June this year Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Important Spring Sale, which included the work "Gods-Kari" by Anders Leonard Zorn. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 3,550,000.00 (€ 301,359.89), 18% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Anders Leonard Zorn have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Söndagsmorgon" (Sunday morning) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 30,000,000.00 (€ 2,926,312.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Important Spring Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Gods-Kari" von Anders Leonard Zorn zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 3.550.000,00 (€ 301.359,89) und damit 18% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anders Leonard Zorn auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Söndagsmorgon" (Sunday morning) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 30.000.000,00 (€ 2.926.312,07).
