Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Anders Widoff was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 20,000.00 (€ 1,912.56). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anders Widoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work from "Opera" Nr 3 in November 2012 with an auction result of SEK 210,000.00 (€ 24,228.29).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Anders Widoff im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 20.000,00 (€ 1.912,56) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anders Widoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit from "Opera" Nr 3 im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 210.000,00 (€ 24.228,29).
