Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Anatoly Slepyshev could be acquired at Sothebys in London in June 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Russian Paintings auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 6,875.00 (€ 8,690.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Slepyshev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Dream, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 22,100.00 (€ 30,945.72).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anatoly Slepyshev konnte im Juni 2008 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Russian Paintings wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 6.875,00 (€ 8.690,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Slepyshev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Dream beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 22.100,00 (€ 30.945,72) versteigert wurde.
