Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Crucifixion Crowd (Diptych) by Anatoly Slepyshev was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2013. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,785.77) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Slepyshev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Dream, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 22,100.00 (€ 30,945.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Crucifixion Crowd (Diptych) von Anatoly Slepyshev kam im November 2013 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.785,77) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Slepyshev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Dream beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 22.100,00 (€ 30.945,72) versteigert wurde.
