Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Returning Home by Anatoly Slepyshev was auctioned at Sothebys in London in June 2007. The price achieved of GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,794.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Slepyshev - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Dream, which sold at auction in November 2007 for GBP 22,100.00 (€ 30,945.72).

Die Arbeit Returning Home von Anatoly Slepyshev kam im Juni 2007 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.794,07) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Slepyshev mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Dream beobachtet, die im November 2007 für GBP 22.100,00 (€ 30.945,72) versteigert wurde.
