Each with a gallery label bearing information about the work in facsimile affixed to the back of the frame. Each individually matted and framed.

Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction (Women) Artists, which included the work 'Untitled (Facial Hair Transplants) (7 works)', 1972 by Ana Mendieta. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 37,800.00 (€ 43,981.17). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ana Mendieta - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (From the Fetish Series), which sold at auction in February 2008 for GBP 102,500.00 (€ 134,065.98).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion (Women) Artists durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Untitled (Facial Hair Transplants) (7 works)', 1972 von Ana Mendieta zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 37.800,00 (€ 43.981,17) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Ana Mendieta mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (From the Fetish Series) beobachtet, die im Februar 2008 für GBP 102.500,00 (€ 134.065,98) versteigert wurde.
