Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Self-Portrait 2019 by Amoako Boafo was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October this year. The price achieved of GBP 102,000.00 (€ 117,124.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amoako Boafo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Hands Up in December 2021 with an auction result of HKD 26,650,000.00 (€ 3,018,669.38).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Self-Portrait 2019 von Amoako Boafo kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 102.000,00 (€ 117.124,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amoako Boafo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Hands Up im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 26.650.000,00 (€ 3.018.669,38).
