This artwork by Amjad Ali Talpur achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in June 2008. In the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,056.13) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 2,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Amjad Ali Talpur; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Game Over sold at auction in September 2007 with the realized price of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,274.63).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Amjad Ali Talpur erzielte im Juni 2008 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.056,13) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 2.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Amjad Ali Talpur; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Game Over im September 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 7.500,00 (€ 5.274,63).
