Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2021 Il Ponte held the auction 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures, which included the work Uomo turco col fez by Amadeo Preziosi. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 800.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 850.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amadeo Preziosi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Album de 79 vues de Malte, Italie, France, Bulgarie, Roumanie et Turquie in March 2004 with an auction result of EUR 228,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion 19th and 20th century Paintings and Sculptures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Uomo turco col fez von Amadeo Preziosi zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 800,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 850,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amadeo Preziosi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Album de 79 vues de Malte, Italie, France, Bulgarie, Roumanie et Turquie im März 2004 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 228.250,00.
