Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in Paris held the auction Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain, which included the work Le poids du monde by Amani Bodo. The price achieved of EUR 4,080.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Amani Bodo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Radeau De La Méduse, 2021 in May last year with an auction result of EUR 34,112.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Paris die Auktion Art Moderne & Contemporain Africain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le poids du monde von Amani Bodo zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.080,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Amani Bodo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Radeau De La Méduse, 2021 im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 34.112,00.
