In October last year Artcurial in Paris held the auction Generation 21 by Artcurial, which included the work Le déjeuner sur l'herbe, 2021 by Amani Bodo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 10,496.00 75% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Amani Bodo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Le Radeau De La Méduse, 2021, which sold at auction in May last year for EUR 34,112.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Im Oktober letzten Jahres führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Generation 21 by Artcurial durch, in der auch die Arbeit Le déjeuner sur l'herbe, 2021 von Amani Bodo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 10.496,00 und damit 75% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Amani Bodo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Le Radeau De La Méduse, 2021 beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für EUR 34.112,00 versteigert wurde.
