Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year VAN HAM held the auction Towards Abstraction | ONLINE ONLY, which included the work "Léspectador blau". by Amador. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 200.00 – 300.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 212.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Amador achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Homme i la Ciutat in March 2001 with an auction result of GBP 4,112.50 (€ 6,635.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte VAN HAM die Auktion Towards Abstraction | ONLINE ONLY durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Léspectador blau". von Amador zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 200,00 – 300,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 212,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Amador erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Homme i la Ciutat im März 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 4.112,50 (€ 6.635,93).
