Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Composition. by Alpo Jaakola was auctioned at Bukowski in Helsinki in November 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of EUR 1,200.00 – 1,500.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for EUR 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alpo Jaakola - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Women Come From The Forest"., which sold at auction in November 2014 for EUR 3,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Composition. von Alpo Jaakola im November 2018 bei Bukowski in Helsinki versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 1.200,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für EUR 1.000,00 den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Alpo Jaakola mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Women Come From The Forest". beobachtet, die im November 2014 für EUR 3.000,00 versteigert wurde.
