This artwork by Alois Arnegger achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in October 2011. In the Old Masters & 19th Century Art auction, the work Villas above Sorrento sold for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,761.26) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alois Arnegger - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bucht Picolla Marina., which sold at auction in March 2007 for CHF 24,000.00 (€ 14,797.67).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 81 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alois Arnegger erzielte im Oktober 2011 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Masters & 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Villas above Sorrento für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.761,26) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alois Arnegger mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bucht Picolla Marina. beobachtet, die im März 2007 für CHF 24.000,00 (€ 14.797,67) versteigert wurde.
