The auction ended at the price of GBP 3,000.00 (€ 3,376.99), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alois Arnegger have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Bucht Picolla Marina. in March 2007 with an auction result of CHF 24,000.00 (€ 14,797.67).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit On the Capri coast von Alois Arnegger kam im Januar 2009 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 3.000,00 (€ 3.376,99) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alois Arnegger auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Bucht Picolla Marina. im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 24.000,00 (€ 14.797,67).
