Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The end of a good day's skiing by Alois Arnegger was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 750.00 (€ 1,077.05) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alois Arnegger achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Bucht Picolla Marina. in March 2007 with an auction result of CHF 24,000.00 (€ 14,797.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The end of a good day's skiing von Alois Arnegger kam im Oktober 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 750,00 (€ 1.077,05) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alois Arnegger erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Bucht Picolla Marina. im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CHF 24.000,00 (€ 14.797,67).
