In December 2008 Christies in New York held the auction Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection, which included the work Marilyn's Last Photo Session, 1962 by Allan Grant. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,750.00 (€ 3,412.60), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Allan Grant - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Audrey Hepburn And Grace Kelly Backstage At The 28Th Annual Academy Awards, Hollywood, 1956, which sold at auction in May 2008 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,720.44).

Im Dezember 2008 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Icons of Glamour and Style: The Constantiner Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marilyn's Last Photo Session, 1962 von Allan Grant zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.750,00 (€ 3.412,60) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Allan Grant mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Audrey Hepburn And Grace Kelly Backstage At The 28Th Annual Academy Awards, Hollywood, 1956 beobachtet, die im Mai 2008 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.720,44) versteigert wurde.
