Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Landscape) by Allah Bux was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2020. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 16,001.02) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Allah Bux have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Flame Of Love in December 2015 with an auction result of INR 6,225,000.00 (€ 86,561.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Landscape) von Allah Bux wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 16.001,02) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Allah Bux auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Flame Of Love im Dezember 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von INR 6.225.000,00 (€ 86.561,84).
